Sacramento Life

Hello all!! I am going to try to update this blog every week, just to keep everyone back on the east coast up-to-date on all the goings on here in sunny, cool California!

It's Sunday, I've been here since Tuesday, and worked every day until yesterday. It has been quite difficult getting used to the west coast time, the different ways people act and drive, and the fact that "medical marijuana" is the solution for the common cold for half of the population! I spent most of this week learning the processes of this company, and then shadowed one of their senior guys on a job down in San Francisco on friday morning for Fox News. It was pretty cool, and it was reassuring that I knew most of the stuff that he was doing...thankfully!
Now we are just waiting for the new parts for my new sat truck to come in so we can retrofit the truck to do full HD video, which is cool!!
I hope to keep this blog up-to-date for those of you who care, so bookmark it and comeback often!!

Love you guys!!!!!
Nate

Enjoy!

Hey Nate!
I'm keeping up with the Sykes through your blogs... congrats on the new job! Pass the employment luck this way when you're done, please! I also want to tell you that Xander looks just like his daddy! Of course babies are always cuter. (sorry!) I can't wait to meet him and introduce him to Savannah! Maybe arranged matches skip a generation... hahaha! Glad he's a football fan... they will get along famously... except on USC vs FL day! =) Have a wonderful time out there! Call soon, and give my love and kisses to Lexy and Xander when you get home!
XO
